Elena peep show9/19/2023 Episode 1: Decent series opener, throwing Mark into the recession nightmare of the new series.Episode 5: What can I say.I'm a sucker for party episodes.Episode 2: Best ep in years - loads of great lines, nice claustrophobic setting in the flat, brilliant take on the baby storyline, and of course the boiler. But I will do a rundown from best to worst: So, ratings out of ten for each episode this series, guys.? Definitely one of my favorite shows and one that's endlessly quotable and relatable.Quote from: Ronnie Rowlands on October 24, 2009, 10:00:47 AM There were a few references that I needed to look up, but that's always a great opportunity to learn something new.Īt this point I've watched the entire run of Peep Show at least a dozen times over. I don't see why it would be less accessible to audiences. Even when you found out about something through word of mouth it was difficult to get a chance to watch it. Growing up on Monty Python, The Young Ones, Blackadder, Red Dwarf and other classic British shows it's never been a question of interest or sensibility so much as the greatly reduced availability. I believe I first heard about Peep Show from the back of some Ed Brubaker comic where he was discussing other media that he'd been enjoying recently. Kind of like the dark old days when Spaced wasn't available here in any legal form either. We only ever got the first series released on DVD and it never aired on TV anywhere. I first heard about it back in '07 or so when it was nearly impossible to watch in the US. I heard about Peep Show first, but I'm a big fan of all of their output. Super happy to hear the appeal is broader than a few people here led me to believe, and so many are enjoying the show!Īmerican here. My initial thoughts were that lots of people outside the UK would also love it, but I thought I stood corrected when a handful of Canadians and Americans who liked other UK comedies couldn’t get into it - this blew my mind as Peep Show is probably my all time favourite comedy show if I had to name one. Where are you from, and how did you discover Peep Show? :)Įdit: Wow! it’s really interesting reading all the places that people are watching from, and how they discovered the show. I completely understand why the material would be less accessible to people who haven’t lived in the UK, but I’m curious how many people here are from other countries.
